كُنْتُ حَاضِراً أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ ابْنُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ فَقَالَ لِلْحَسَنِ يَا بُنَيَّ أَحْدِثْ لِلَّهِ شُكْراً فَقَدْ أَحْدَثَ فِيكَ أَمْراً .

اور اس سے، موسیٰ بن جعفر بن وہب سے، علی بن جعفر سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں ابوالحسن علیہ السلام کے ساتھ حاضر تھا جب ان کے بیٹے محمد کا انتقال ہوا۔ پھر انہوں نے حسن سے فرمایا: “اے میرے بیٹے، اللہ کا شکر تازہ کرو، کیونکہ اس نے تمہارے اندر ایک امر پیدا فرمایا ہے۔”
Translation
And from him, from Musa Bin Ja’far Bin Wahab, from Ali Bin Ja’far Who said, ‘I was presence with Abu Al Hassan<sup>asws</sup> when his<sup>asws</sup> son Muhammad died. So he<sup>asws</sup> said to Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>: ‘O my<sup>asws</sup> son<sup>asws</sup>! Renew the thanks to Allah<sup>azwj</sup> for the command (Imamate) has come to be in you<sup>asws</sup>’.
