سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ لا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْباطِلِ فَقَالَ كَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ تُقَامِرُ الرَّجُلَ بِأَهْلِهِ وَ مَالِهِ فَنَهَاهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَنْ ذَلِكَ
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al hakam, from Sayf Bin Ameyra, from Ziyad Bin Isa and he is Abu Ubeyda Al Haza’a who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h188"><a href="/books/quran:2#h188">[2:188]</a></a> And do not swallow up your property among yourselves by false means</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Qureysh man used to gamble with his family and his wealth, so Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Fobade them from that’.
