Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘The monopoly is in that when food is bought, and there is nothing in the city apart from it, so it is monopolised. So if there was (sufficient) food in the city, or someone else was selling it (as well), so there is no problem with seeking the preferential price’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked himasws about the oil, so heasws said: ‘If it was with someone other than you, so there is no problem with withholding it’.
