Translation

Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan, from Abu Al Fazl, Salim Al Hannat who said, ‘Abu Abdullah^asws said to me: ‘What is your work?’ I said, ‘A wheat merchant, and sometimes I proceed upon a marketable period, and sometimes I proceed upon a sluggish period, so I withhold it’. So he^asws said: ‘So what are the ones in front of you saying with regards to it?’ I said, ‘They are saying, ‘A monopoliser’. So he^asws said: ‘Does anyone other than you selling it?’ I said, ‘What I sell is one part from a thousand parts’. He^asws said: ‘There is no problem. But rather, that was a man from the Qureysh call Hakeem Bin Hizam, and whenever food entered Al-Medina, he used to buy all of it. So the Prophet^saww passed by him and said: ‘O Hakeem Bin Hizam, beware of monopolising’.
