Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws, said, ‘I asked himasws about the man who monopolised the food and he awaited with it. Is that allowed?’ So heasws said: ‘If the food was abundant, being freely available for the people, so there is no problem with it; and if the food was scarce, not freely available for the people, so it is abhorrent that he monopolises the food and leaves the people with when there being no food for them’.
