سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ بَاعَ مَمْلُوكاً فَوَجَدَ لَهُ مَالًا قَالَ فَقَالَ الْمَالُ لِلْبَائِعِ إِنَّمَا بَاعَ نَفْسَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ شَرَطَ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّ مَا كَانَ لَهُ مِنْ مَالٍ أَوْ مَتَاعٍ فَهُوَ لَهُ.
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad and Ahmad Bin Muhammad altogether, from Ibn Mahboub, from Al A’ala, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>), said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about selling an owned slave, so I found wealth for him’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The wealth is for the seller. Bu rather his self has been sold, except if there happens to be a stipulation upon him that if there was some wealth for him, or some goods, so it would be for him’.
