سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ عَبْداً أَحْيَا الْعِلْمَ قَالَ قُلْتُ وَ مَا إِحْيَاؤُهُ قَالَ أَنْ يُذَاكِرَ بِهِ أَهْلَ الدِّينِ وَ أَهْلَ الْوَرَعِ .

محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد بن عیسی سے، انہوں نے محمد بن سنان سے، انہوں نے ابو الجارود سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے سنا: 'اللہ اس بندے پر رحم کرے جو علم کو زندہ رکھے۔' راوی نے کہا: میں نے عرض کیا، 'اور اس کا احیاء کیا ہے؟' آپ نے فرمایا: 'یہ کہ وہ اسے اہلِ دین اور اہلِ ورع کے ساتھ مذاکرہ کرے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Abu Al Jaroud who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> saing: ‘May Allah<sup>azwj</sup> have Mercy on a servant who revives the knowledge’. I said, ‘And what is its revival?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If he discusses it with the people of the Religion and the people of the piety’.
