سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِنَّ لِلْقَائِمِ ( عليه السلام ) غَيْبَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ قُلْتُ وَ لِمَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَخَافُ وَ أَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى بَطْنِهِ يَعْنِي الْقَتْلَ .

محمد بن یحییٰ، جعفر بن محمد سے، وہ حسن بن معاویہ سے، وہ عبد اللہ بن جبلہ سے، وہ عبد اللہ بن بکیر سے، وہ زرارہ سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: “بے شک القائم علیہ السلام کے لیے اس کے قیام سے پہلے ایک غیبت ہوگی۔” میں نے عرض کیا: “اور کیوں؟” انہوں نے عليه السلام فرمایا: “کیونکہ وہ خوف رکھتے ہیں،” اور انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اپنے پیٹ کی طرف اشارہ کیا، یعنی قتل۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Muawiya, from Abdullah Bin Jabala, from Abdullah Bin Bukeyr, from Zurara who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘For Al-Qaim<sup>asws</sup> there would be an absence (Occultation) before his<sup>asws</sup> rising’. I said, ‘And why (would that be so)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> he<sup>asws</sup> would fear’, and he<sup>asws</sup> gestured by his<sup>asws</sup> hand towards his<sup>asws</sup> belly, meaning the murder’.
