Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibrahim Bin Is’haq Al Khudry, from Abu Sadiq who said, ‘Amir Al-Momineenasws entered the market of the date-sellers, so there was a womain wailing and she was disputing with a male date-seller. So heasws said to her: ‘What is the matter with you?’ She said, ‘O Amir Al-Momineenasws! I bought dates from this date-seller with a Dirham, so there came out from its bottom, some spoilt ones, unlike those which I had seen’. So heasws said to him: ‘Return it to her’. So he refused until heasws had said it three times. But, he still refused. So heasws raised hisasws whip until he returned it to her, and Aliasws used to dislike the dates being veiled’.
