اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ قُلْ أَ رَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ ماؤُكُمْ غَوْراً فَمَنْ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِماءٍ مَعِينٍ قَالَ إِذَا غَابَ عَنْكُمْ إِمَامُكُمْ فَمَنْ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِإِمَامٍ جَدِيدٍ .

علی بن محمد، سہل بن زیاد سے، موسیٰ بن القاسم بن معاویہ البجلی سے، علی بن جعفر سے، اپنے بھائی موسیٰ بن جعفر علیہ السلام سے۔ اللہ عز و جل کے اس قول کے بارے میں: کہہ دو: کیا تم نے غور کیا، اگر تمہارا پانی زمین میں اتر جائے تو کون ہے جو تمہارے پاس بہتا ہوا پانی لے آئے؟ انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: جب تمہارا امام تم سے غائب ہو جائے، تو کون تمہارے پاس ایک نیا امام لے کر آئے گا؟
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Musa Bin Al Qasim Bin Muawiya Al Bajaly, (It has been narrated) from Ali son of Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, from his brother<sup>asws</sup> Musa<sup>asws</sup> Bin Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"> <a href="/#/books/quran:67#h30"><a href="/books/quran:67#h30">[67:30]</a></a> Say: Have you considered if your water should recede, who is it then that will bring you flowing water?</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When your Imam<sup>asws</sup> is absent from you all, so who would come to you with a new Imam<sup>asws</sup>?’.
