قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) لَا يَضْمَنُ الْعَارِيَّةَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدِ اشْتَرَطَ فِيهَا ضَمَاناً إِلَّا الدَّنَانِيرَ فَإِنَّهَا مَضْمُونَةٌ وَ إِنْ لَمْ يَشْتَرِطْ فِيهَا ضَمَاناً .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Abdullah Bin Sinan who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no liability for the borrowed item except if there has been stipulation for the guarantee therein, except for the Dinars (currency), for it is under guarantee and even if there is no stipulation for a guarantee therein’.
