Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Aban, from Muhammad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’farasws, said, ‘I asked himasws about the borrowed item which is borrowed by a person, so it gets destroyed or stolen. So heasws said: ‘If he was trustworthy then there would be no liability upon him’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked himasws about the one who runs a shop with the goods, so it either perishes or is stolen, would there be a guarantee upon its owner?’ So heasws said: ‘There would be no liability upon him (shop manager) after it turns out that the man was trustworthy’.
