سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِنَّ لِلْقَائِمِ غَيْبَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ إِنَّهُ يَخَافُ وَ أَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى بَطْنِهِ يَعْنِي الْقَتْلَ .

اور اس سند کے ساتھ، احمد بن محمد سے، ان کے والد محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، ابن بکیر سے، زرارہ سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ‘بے شک قائم کے لیے اس کے قیام سے پہلے ایک غیبت ہوگی۔ بے شک وہ خوف رکھتا ہے،’ اور آپ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اپنے پیٹ کی طرف اشارہ کیا، یعنی قتل۔
Translation
And by this chain, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from his father Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ibn Bukeyr, from Zurara who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘For Al-Qaim<sup>asws</sup>, there would be an Occultation before he<sup>asws</sup> arises. He<sup>asws</sup> would fear’, and he<sup>asws</sup> gestured by his<sup>asws</sup> hand towards his<sup>asws</sup> belly, meaning the murder’.
