سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْمَلَّاحِ أَحْمِلُ مَعَهُ الطَّعَامَ ثُمَّ أَقْبِضُهُ مِنْهُ فَنَقَصَ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ مَأْمُوناً فَلَا تُضَمِّنْهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahman Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Yahya Bin Al Hajjaj, from Khalid Bin Al Hajjaj who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the sailor who carried foodstuff with him, then I took possession of it from him, and it was deficient’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If he was trustworthy, so you should not hold him liable’.
