سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ كَانَتْ لَهُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ دَنَانِيرُ فَأَحَالَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلًا آخَرَ بِالدَّنَانِيرِ أَ يَأْخُذُهَا دَرَاهِمَ بِسِعْرِ الْيَوْمِ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِنْ شَاءَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about a man who had some Dinars for him upon a man, so he assigned another man with the Dinars. Can he take it as Dirham with the (exchange) rate on the day?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, if he so desires it’.
