Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza who said, ‘I said to Abu Al-Hassanasws, ‘A Jew or a Christian had four thousand Dirhams for him in my possession, so he died. Is it allowed for me that I reconcile with his inheritors or (otherwise) don’t let them known how much it was?’ So heasws said: ‘No, until you inform them’.
