John Shaqi

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ مَنِ اسْتَعَارَ عَبْداً مَمْلُوكاً لِقَوْمٍ فَعِيبَ فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ وَ مَنِ اسْتَعَارَ حُرّاً صَغِيراً فَعِيبَ فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, from Wahab, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The one who borrows an owned slave for overseeing (a matter) and he faults, so he is responsible, and the one who borrows a free young person, so he faults, so he is responsible’.
