خَيْرُ نِسَائِكُمُ الَّتِي إِذَا خَلَتْ مَعَ زَوْجِهَا خَلَعَتْ لَهُ دِرْعَ الْحَيَاءِ وَ إِذَا لَبِسَتْ لَبِسَتْ مَعَهُ دِرْعَ الْحَيَاءِ .

ہمارے کئی اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد بن خالد البرقی سے، انہوں نے احمد بن محمد بن ابی نصر سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عثمان سے، انہوں نے ابو بصیر سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپؑ نے فرمایا: تمہاری عورتوں میں سب سے بہترین وہ ہے جو اپنے شوہر کے ساتھ تنہا ہو تو اس کے لیے حیاء کی زرہ اتار دے، اور جب (گھر سے) نکلے تو اس کے ساتھ حیاء کی زرہ پہن لے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid Al barqy, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Hammad Bin Usman, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The best of your women is the one who, when she is alone with her husband, puts off the shield of shyness, and when she dresses up, she dresses up for him a shield of shyness’.
