سَأَلَ أَبُو بَصِيرٍ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ أَنَا أَسْمَعُ فَقَالَ تَرَانِي أُدْرِكُ الْقَائِمَ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا بَصِيرٍ أَ لَسْتَ تَعْرِفُ إِمَامَكَ فَقَالَ إِي وَ اللَّهِ وَ أَنْتَ هُوَ وَ تَنَاوَلَ يَدَهُ فَقَالَ وَ اللَّهِ مَا تُبَالِي يَا أَبَا بَصِيرٍ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مُحْتَبِياً بِسَيْفِكَ فِي ظِلِّ رِوَاقِ الْقَائِمِ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ.

علی بن ابراہیم، صالح بن السندی سے، جعفر بن بشیر سے، اسماعیل بن محمد الخزاعی سے، انہوں نے کہا: ابو بصیر نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا جبکہ میں سن رہا تھا، اور انہوں نے کہا: “کیا آپ سمجھتے ہیں کہ میں القائم علیہ السلام تک پہنچ جاؤں گا؟” انہوں نے فرمایا: “اے ابو بصیر، کیا تم اپنے امام کو نہیں جانتے؟” اس نے کہا: “ہاں، اللہ کی قسم، اور آپ ہی وہ ہیں،” اور اس نے ان کا ہاتھ پکڑ لیا۔ پس انہوں نے فرمایا: “اللہ کی قسم، اے ابو بصیر، تمہیں اس بات کی پروا نہیں ہوگی کہ تم اپنی تلوار کے ساتھ القائم کے ایوان کے سایے میں نہ بیٹھو، اللہ کی برکتیں ان پر ہوں۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Salih Bin Al Sindy, from Ja’far Bin Bashir, from Ismail Bin Muhammad Al Khuzaie who said, ‘Abu Baseer asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> and I heard it, so he said, ‘Do you<sup>asws</sup> view that I shall come across Al-Qaim<sup>asws</sup>?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘O Abu Baseer! Haven’t you recognised your Imam<sup>asws</sup>?’ So he said, ‘Yes, by Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, and you<sup>asws</sup> are him<sup>asws</sup>, and grabbed his<sup>asws</sup> hand. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! (Then) you should not care if you do not happen to be leaning by your sword in the shade of the alleyway of Al-Qaim<sup>asws</sup>, may the <span class="iTxt">Salawat</span> of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> be upon him<sup>asws</sup>’.
