John Shaqi

الْوَلِيمَةُ يَوْمٌ وَ يَوْمَانِ مَكْرُمَةٌ وَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ رِيَاءٌ وَ سُمْعَةٌ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazal, (It has been narrated) raising it to Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Waleema (wedding feast) is for one day, and for two days it is a prestige, and for three days it is a showing-off’.
