قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْوَلِيمَةُ أَوَّلَ يَوْمٍ حَقٌّ وَ الثَّانِيَ مَعْرُوفٌ وَ مَا زَادَ رِيَاءٌ وَ سُمْعَةٌ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The Waleema (Wedding feast) on the first day is true (Sunnah), and the second (day) it is goodness, and whatever is an increase is a show-off and to be heard of’.
