Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Dawood Bin Al Husayn, from Abu Al Abbas who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullahasws about the dowry, is there a time for it?’ Heasws said: ‘No’. Then heasws said: ‘The dowry of the Prophetsaww was of twelve <span class="iTxt">Owqiya</span> and one <span class="iTxt">Nashsha</span>, and the <span class="iTxt">Nashsha</span> is half the <span class="iTxt">Owqiya</span>, and the <span class="iTxt">Owqiya</span> is of forty Dirham, so that is five hundred Dirhams’.
