Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza who said, ‘I asked Abu Ibrahimasws (7th Imamasws) about a man who got his daughter married to a son of his brother, and made a house and a servant to be her dower. Then the man died. Heasws said: ‘The dower would be taken from the average of the wealth’. I said, ‘So the house and the servant?’ Heasws said: ‘An average from the houses, and the servant is an average from the servants’. I said, ‘Thirty or fourty Dinars, and the house is approximately that’. So heasws said: ‘This is seventy, eighty Dinars, or a hundred, approximately that’.
