Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Abdullah Bin Al Kahily who said, ‘Hamadat Bint Al-Hassan, a daughter of Abu Ubeyda narrated to me saying, ‘I asked Abu Abdullahasws about a man who married a woman and stipulated for her that he would not marry (an additional wife) upon her, and she was pleased with that as her dower’. So Abu Abdullahasws said: ‘This is an invalid stipulation. The marriage does not take place except upon a Dirham or two Dirhams’.
