قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ وَ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ تَرَى الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ كُلُّ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ إِمَامٌ وَ لَيْسَ بِإِمَامٍ قُلْتُ وَ إِنْ كَانَ فَاطِمِيّاً عَلَوِيّاً قَالَ وَ إِنْ كَانَ فَاطِمِيّاً عَلَوِيّاً .

الحسین بن محمد، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، محمد بن جمہور سے، عبداللہ بن عبدالرحمن سے، الحسین بن المختار سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ (عليه السلام) سے کہا: “میں آپ پر قربان ہو جاؤں۔” “اور قیامت کے دن تم ان لوگوں کو دیکھو گے جنہوں نے اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھا۔” انہوں نے (عليه السلام) فرمایا: “ہر وہ شخص جو یہ گمان کرے کہ وہ امام ہے، حالانکہ وہ امام نہیں ہے۔” میں نے کہا: "اگرچہ وہ فاطمی اور علوی ہی کیوں نہ ہو؟" انہوں نے (عليه السلام) فرمایا: "اگرچہ وہ فاطمی اور علوی ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔"
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Jamhour, from Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman, from Al Husayn Bin Al Mukhtar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:39#h60"><a href="/books/quran:39#h60">[39:60]</a></a> And on the Day of Judgement you shall see those who lied against Allah</span>’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Everyone who claims that he is an Imam but he isn’t an Imam’. I said, ‘And even if he was a Fatimiide (from the children of Syeda Fatima<sup>asws</sup>)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And even if he was a Fatimiide (from the children of Syeda Fatima<sup>asws</sup>), Alawiite (from the children of Ali<sup>asws</sup>)’.
