سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ لَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ مَنِ ادَّعَى إِمَامَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ وَ مَنْ جَحَدَ إِمَاماً مِنَ اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمَا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ نَصِيباً .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے، احمد بن محمد سے، وہ الوشّاء سے، وہ داود الحمار سے، وہ ابن ابی یعفور سے، وہ ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے انہیں یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ‘تین ایسے ہیں جن سے اللہ قیامت کے دن کلام نہیں کرے گا، نہ انہیں پاک کرے گا، اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے: وہ شخص جو اللہ کی طرف سے ایسی امامت کا دعویٰ کرے جو اس کی نہیں، وہ شخص جو اللہ کی طرف سے مقرر کردہ امام کا انکار کرے، اور وہ شخص جو یہ گمان کرے کہ ان دونوں کا اسلام میں کوئی حصہ ہے۔’
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Dawood Al Hammar, from Ibn Abu Yafour, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Three (people), Allah<sup>azwj</sup> will not be Speaking to them on the Day of Judgment, nor will He<sup>azwj</sup> be Purifying them, and for them would be a painful Punishment – the one who alleges that he is an Imam (Appointed by) Allah<sup>azwj</sup> but it (the Imamate) isn’t for him, and the one who denies an Imam<sup>asws</sup> from Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, and the one who claims that there is a share for the two of them (number one and number two) in Al-Islam’.
