سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ إِذا فَعَلُوا فاحِشَةً قالُوا وَجَدْنا عَلَيْها آباءَنا وَ اللَّهُ أَمَرَنا بِها قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشاءِ أَ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ ما لا تَعْلَمُونَ قَالَ فَقَالَ هَلْ رَأَيْتَ أَحَداً زَعَمَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَ بِالزِّنَا وَ شُرْبِ الْخَمْرِ أَوْ شَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْمَحَارِمِ فَقُلْتُ لَا فَقَالَ مَا هَذِهِ الْفَاحِشَةُ الَّتِي يَدَّعُونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَهُمْ بِهَا قُلْتُ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ وَ وَلِيُّهُ قَالَ فَإِنَّ هَذَا فِي أَئِمَّةِ الْجَوْرِ ادَّعَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَهُمْ بِالِائْتِمَامِ بِقَوْمٍ لَمْ يَأْمُرْهُمُ اللَّهُ بِالِائْتِمَامِ بِهِمْ فَرَدَّ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَأَخْبَرَ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ قَالُوا عَلَيْهِ الْكَذِبَ وَ سَمَّى ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ فَاحِشَةً .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے، احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسین بن سعید سے، انہوں نے ابی وہب سے، انہوں نے محمد بن منصور سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ان سے اللہ عز و جل کے اس قول کے بارے میں پوچھا: اور جب وہ کوئی بے حیائی کرتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں: ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو اسی پر پایا، اور اللہ نے ہمیں اس کا حکم دیا ہے۔ کہہ دو: بے شک اللہ بے حیائی کا حکم نہیں دیتا۔ کیا تم اللہ پر وہ بات کہتے ہو جسے تم نہیں جانتے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: کیا تم نے کبھی کسی کو دیکھا ہے جو یہ گمان کرتا ہو کہ اللہ نے زنا، شراب نوشی، یا ان حرام چیزوں میں سے کسی چیز کا حکم دیا ہے؟ تو میں نے کہا: نہیں۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: پھر یہ کون سی بے حیائی ہے جس کے بارے میں وہ دعویٰ کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے انہیں اس کا حکم دیا؟ میں نے کہا: اللہ اور اس کا ولی بہتر جانتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: یہ ظالم ائمہ کے بارے میں ہے۔ انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ اللہ نے لوگوں کو ایسے لوگوں کی پیروی کا حکم دیا ہے جن کی پیروی کا اللہ نے انہیں حکم نہیں دیا تھا۔ پس اللہ نے ان کے خلاف اس بات کی تردید فرمائی، اور خبر دی کہ انہوں نے اس پر جھوٹ بولا ہے، اور اسے ان کی طرف سے ایک فحاشی قرار دیا۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Abu Wahab, from Muhammad Bin Mansour who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:7#h28"><a href="/books/quran:7#h28">[7:28]</a></a> And when they commit an immorality they say: We found our fathers doing this, and Allah has Commanded us for it. Say: Surely, Allah does not Command for immoralities; are you saying against Allah what you do not know?</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Have you ever seen anyone claiming that Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Commanded with the adultery, and drinking of the wine, or anything from these Prohibitions?’ So I said, ‘No’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘What are these immoralities that they are claiming that Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Commanded with these?’ I said, ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> and His<sup>azwj</sup> Guardian<sup>asws</sup> are more Knowing’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘So this is regarding the tyrannical imams (leaders) who are claiming that Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Commanded them to be the imams (leaders) of the people. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> did not Command them with being their imams (leaders). Thus, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Rebutted it upon them and Informed that they have said a lie upon Him<sup>azwj</sup>, and He<sup>azwj</sup> Termed that as being an immorality from them’.
