John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَكُونُ لَهُ أَرْبَعُ نِسْوَةٍ فَيُطَلِّقُ إِحْدَاهُنَّ أَ يَتَزَوَّجُ مَكَانَهَا  أُخْرَى قَالَ لَا حَتَّى تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza who said, ‘I asked Abu Ibrahim<sup>asws</sup> about the man who happens to have four wives, and he divorces one of them. Can he marry another in her place?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No, until her waiting period expires’.
