سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ أَدْنَى مَهْرِ الْمُتْعَةِ مَا هُوَ قَالَ كَفٌّ مِنْ طَعَامٍ دَقِيقٍ أَوْ سَوِيقٍ أَوْ تَمْرٍ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the lowest dower for the <span class="iTxt">Mut’a</span>, what is it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘A handful of foodstuff, flour, or <span class="iTxt">Suweyq</span>, or dates’.
