: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلصَّلاَةِ بِمَكَّةَ وَ اَلْمَدِينَةِ يُقَصَّرُ أَوْ يُتَمُّ قَالَ «قَصِّرْ مَا لَمْ تَعْزِمْ عَلَى مُقَامِ عَشَرَةِ أَيَّامٍ.

1284 - جو محمد ابن اسماعیل ابن بزیع نے ابو الحسن الرضا علیہ السلام سے روایت کیا، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے مکہ اور مدینہ میں نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا: کیا اسے قصر کرنا چاہیے یا مکمل؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: "قصر کرو جب تک کہ تم دس دن قیام کا ارادہ نہ کر لو۔"
Translation
Hadith.1284 - It is narrated from Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn Bazi' from Imam al-Ridha (as) that He said: I asked him about the prayer in Mecca and Medina, whether it should be shortened or completed. Imam (as) said: "Shorten it unless you intend to stay for ten days”.
