«يَسْتَقْبِلُ اَلْأَسَدَ وَ يُصَلِّي وَ يُومِئُ بِرَأْسِهِ إِيمَاءً وَ هُوَ قَائِمٌ وَ إِنْ كَانَ اَلْأَسَدُ عَلَى غَيْرِ اَلْقِبْلَةِ.

اور عَلِی ابن جعفر نے اپنے بھائی موسیٰ ابن جعفر علیہما السلام سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جسے کوئی درندہ مل جائے جبکہ وقتِ صلات (نماز) آ چکا ہو اور وہ درندے کے خوف سے چل نہ سکے۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: ‘‘وہ شیر کی طرف رخ کرے، صلات (نماز) ادا کرے، اور کھڑے ہو کر سر سے اشارہ کرے، چاہے شیر قبلہ کی طرف نہ ہو۔’’
Translation
Hadith.1336 - Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) about a man who encounters a wild beast, and the time for prayer has arrived, but he is unable to walk due to fear of the beast. Imam (as) said: "He should face the lion, perform the prayer, and gesture with his head while standing, even if the lion is not in the direction of the Qibla."
