«يَسْتَقْبِلُ اَلْأَسَدَ وَ يُصَلِّي وَ يُومِئُ بِرَأْسِهِ إِيمَاءً وَ هُوَ قَائِمٌ وَ إِنْ كَانَ اَلْأَسَدُ عَلَى غَيْرِ اَلْقِبْلَةِ.

سماعہ ابن مہرن نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو جنگلی درندے سے ملتا ہے اور نماز کا وقت ہو چکا ہو، لیکن شیر کے خوف سے چل نہیں سکتا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: وہ شیر کی طرف رخ کرے اور نماز پڑھے، کھڑے ہو کر سر کے اشارے سے اشارہ کرے، چاہے شیر قبلہ کی طرف نہ ہو۔
Translation
Hadith.1337 - Sama'a ibn Mehran asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man who encounters a wild beast, and the time for prayer has arrived, but he cannot walk due to fear of the lion. Imam (as) said: "He should face the lion and perform the prayer, gesturing with his head while standing, even if the lion is not in the direction of the Qibla."
