بَطْنِي حَتَّى أَظُنَّ أَنَّهَا قَدْ خَرَجَتْ فَقَالَ «لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ وُضُوءٌ حَتَّى تَسْمَعَ اَلصَّوْتَ أَوْ تَجِدَ اَلرِّيحَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ إِبْلِيسَ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ أَلْيَتَيِ اَلرَّجُلِ فَيُحْدِثُ لِيُشَكِّكَهُ.

اور عبدالرحمن ابن ابی عبد اللہ نے امام صادق علیہ السلام سے فرمایا: مجھے اپنے پیٹ میں ہوا محسوس ہوتی ہے یہاں تک کہ میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ وہ نکل چکی ہے۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “جب تک تم آواز نہ سنو یا ہوا محسوس نہ کرو، تم پر وضو لازم نہیں۔” پھر انہوں نے فرمایا: “بے شک ابلیس آدمی کی پچھواڑے کے درمیان بیٹھتا ہے اور اسے شک میں مبتلا کرنے کے لیے ایسی چیز پیدا کرتا ہے۔”
Translation
Hadith.139 - Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Abdullah asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said: 'I feel wind in my stomach to the extent that I think it has exited.' Imam (as) said: 'You do not need to perform ablution unless you hear a sound or perceive the smell.' Imam (as) then added: 'Indeed, Satan sits between a man's buttocks and causes him to think he has passed wind to make him doubt.'.
