: «إِذَا غَضِبَ اَللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَلَى أُمَّةٍ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُنْزِلْ بِهَا اَلْعَذَابَ غَلَتْ أَسْعَارُهَا وَ قَصُرَتْ أَعْمَارُهَا وَ لَمْ يَرْبَحْ تُجَّارُهَا وَ لَمْ تَزْكُ ثِمَارُهَا وَ لَمْ تَغْزُرْ أَنْهَارُهَا وَ حُبِسَ عَنْهَا أَمْطَارُهَا وَ سُلِّطَ عَلَيْهَا أَشْرَارُهَا.

اور یہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: اگر اللہ تعالیٰ کسی قوم پر غضب کرے اور اس پر عذاب نازل نہ کرے تو اس کی اشیاء کی قیمتیں بڑھ جاتی ہیں، اس کی عمر کم ہو جاتی ہے، اس کے تاجروں کو منافع نہیں ہوتا، اس کے پھل اچھے نہیں ہوتے، اس کی ندیاں وافر نہیں ہوتیں، اس پر بارشیں روک دی جاتی ہیں، اور اس پر بدکاروں کو حکمرانی دے دی جاتی ہے۔
Translation
Hadith.1489 - It is narrated from The Prophet (sw) that He said: "When Allah (swt), the Exalted, becomes angry with a nation but does not send punishment upon it, the prices of goods rise, their lifespans become shorter, their traders do not profit, their fruits do not flourish, their rivers do not flow abundantly, rain is withheld from them, and their wicked people are given authority over them."
