هَا زَكَاةٌ فَقَالَ «إِذَا بَلَغَ قِيمَتُهُ دِينَاراً فَفِيهِ اَلْخُمُسُ ».

ابو الحسن موسی ابن جعفر علیہما السلام سے پوچھا گیا کہ سمندر سے نکالی جانے والی چیزوں جیسے موتی، یاقوت، اور زمرد، اور سونے اور چاندی کے کانوں کے بارے میں: کیا ان پر زکات واجب ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: "اگر اس کی قیمت ایک دینار تک پہنچ جائے تو اس پر خمس واجب ہے۔"
Translation
Hadith.1644 - Abu al-Hasan Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) was asked about what is extracted from the sea, such as pearls, rubies, and emeralds, and about mines of gold and silver: "Is there Zakat on them?" Imam (as) replied: "If their value reaches one dinar, then Khums (one-fifth) is due on them."
