: «إِنَّمَا وُضِعَتِ اَلزَّكَاةُ قُوتاً لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَ تَوْفِيراً لِأَمْوَالِهِمْ ».

مبارک العقرقوفی نے ابو الحسن موسیٰ بن جعفر علیہما السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: زکات فقروں کے لیے روزی کے طور پر اور ان کے مال کی حفاظت کے لیے مقرر کی گئی ہے۔
Translation
Hadith.1575 - Mubarak Al-Aqrqoufi narrated from Abu Al-Hasan Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) who said: "Zakat was established as sustenance for the poor and a means of increasing their wealth."
