«أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُخَلِّطَ صَوْمِي بِلَذَّةٍ.

اَلصَّادِق علیہ السلام، جب وہ روزہ رکھتے تھے، تو ریحان کی خوشبو نہیں سونگھتے تھے، اس بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “میں نہیں چاہتا کہ میرا روزہ لذت کے ساتھ مل جائے۔”
Translation
Hadith.1880 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), when fasting, would not smell basil. He was asked about this, and Imam (as) said: "I dislike mixing my fast with pleasure."
