: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلْفِطْرَةِ فَقَالَ «عَلَى اَلصَّغِيرِ وَ اَلْكَبِيرِ وَ اَلْحُرِّ وَ اَلْعَبْدِ عَنْ كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ صَاعٌ مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ أَوْ صَاعٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعٌ مِنْ زَبِيبٍ ».

ابن ابی نجران اور علی ابن الحکم نے صفوان الجمال سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے زکات الفطرہ کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: “یہ چھوٹے اور بڑے، آزاد اور غلام سب پر فرض ہے۔ ہر انسان پر ایک صاع گندم، یا ایک صاع کھجور، یا ایک صاع کشمش۔”
Translation
Hadith.2061 - It is narrated from Ibn Abi Najran and Ali ibn Al-Hakam, from Safwan Al-Jammal, who said: "I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about Zakat al-Fitr. Imam (as) said: 'It is obligatory for the young and the old, the free and the enslaved. For every individual, it is one sa' (measure) of wheat, or one sa' of dates, or one sa' of raisins.'"
