« إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ لِأَنَّ اَللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ذَكَرَ قِصَّتَهُ فِي كِتَابِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ « وَ بَشَّرْنٰاهُ بِإِسْحٰاقَ نَبِيًّا مِنَ اَلصّٰالِحِينَ » ».
اردو
اَلصَّادِق علیہ السلام سے پوچھا گیا کہ ذبیح کون تھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: «اسماعیل علیہ السلام، کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کی کہانی اپنی کتاب میں بیان کی، پھر فرمایا: «اور ہم نے اسے اسحاق کی خوشخبری دی، جو نیکوں میں سے ایک نبی تھا۔» "
Translation
Hadith.2278 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) was asked about who the "sacrificed one" (Dhabih) was, and Imam (as) said: "Isma'il (as), because Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, mentioned his story in His Book and then said: 'And We gave him glad tidings of Ishaq, a prophet from among the righteous.'" (Surah As-Saffat 37:112)
