«لاَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُسْتَظَلَّ فِي اَلْمَحْمِلِ وَ اَلْفَرْقُ بَيْنَهُمَا أَنَّ اَلْمَرْأَةَ تَطْمَثُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَتَقْضِي اَلصِّيَامَ وَ لاَ تَقْضِي اَلصَّلاَةَ» قَالَ صَدَقْتَ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ.

2674 - اور یہ روایت ہے الحُسین ابن مسلم سے، ابو جعفر الثانی علیہ السلام سے: انہیں پوچھا گیا، "خیمہ اور محل کے سایے میں کیا فرق ہے؟" انہوں نے فرمایا: ‘‘محمل میں سایہ لینا مناسب نہیں ہے، اور ان دونوں کے درمیان فرق یہ ہے کہ عورت رمضان کے مہینے میں حیض ہوتی ہے، اس لیے وہ روزہ قضا کرتی ہے لیکن نماز قضا نہیں کرتی۔’’ انہوں نے کہا، "تم نے سچ کہا، میں تمہاری فدیہ ہوں۔"
Translation
Hadith.2674 - It was narrated from Al-Husayn ibn Muslim, who said: I asked Abu Ja'far the Second (as): "What is the difference between a tent (fusṭāṭ) and the shade of a litter (maḥmil)?" Imam (as) said: "One should not seek shade in the maḥmil. The difference between them is like the case of a woman who menstruates during Month of Ramadan; she makes up the fasts but does not make up the prayers." I replied: "You have spoken the truth, may I be your ransom."
