Man La Yahduruhu al-Faqih 29

اور عَلِی ابن جعفر نے اپنے بھائی موسیٰ ابن جعفر علیہ السلام سے پوچھا۔ ایک جنابت میں مرد کے بارے میں: کیا اس کے لیے غسلِ جنابت کے بدلے بارش میں کھڑے رہنا کافی ہوگا جب تک کہ اس کا سر اور جسم دھل نہ جائے، جبکہ اس کے پاس اس کے علاوہ پانی دستیاب ہو؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: اگر وہ اسے پانی کے غسل کی طرح دھو دے تو وہ اس کے لیے کافی ہے۔

Translation

Hadith.27 - Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) about a man in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) : Would it suffice for him to stand in the rain until his head and body are washed, if he also has access to other water? Imam (as) said: "If the rain washes him completely as it would with water for ghusl, then that suffices."
