: كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ بِمِنًى إِذْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ قَوْماً قَدِمُوا وَ قَدْ فَاتَهُمُ اَلْحَجُّ فَقَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ «نَسْأَلُ اَللَّهَ اَلْعَافِيَةَ أَرَى أَنْ يُهَرِيقَ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ شَاةً وَ يَحِلُّوا وَ عَلَيْهِمُ اَلْحَجُّ مِنْ قَابِلٍ إِنِ اِنْصَرَفُوا إِلَى بِلاَدِهِمْ وَ إِنْ أَقَامُوا حَتَّى تَمْضِيَ أَيَّامُ اَلتَّشْرِيقِ بِمَكَّةَ ثُمَّ خَرَجُوا إِلَى وَقْتِ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ فَأَحْرَمُوا مِنْهُ وَ اِعْتَمَرُوا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِمُ اَلْحَجُّ مِنْ قَابِلٍ».

ابن محبوب نے داوود الرقی سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں مِنا میں ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کے ساتھ تھا جب ایک شخص آیا اور کہا، 'کچھ لوگ آئے ہیں اور حج ان سے رہ گیا ہے۔' انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: 'ہم اللہ سے عافیت مانگتے ہیں۔ میرا خیال ہے کہ ان میں سے ہر شخص کو ایک بھیڑ ذبح کرنی چاہیے، احرام سے نکلنا چاہیے، اور اگر وہ اپنے وطن لوٹ جائیں تو ان پر اگلے سال حج واجب رہے گا۔ لیکن اگر وہ مکہ میں ایام تشریق گزرنے تک قیام کریں، پھر مکہ والوں کے میقات پر جائیں، وہاں سے احرام باندھیں اور عمرہ کریں، تو اگلے سال ان پر حج واجب نہیں ہوگا۔'
Translation
Hadith.2996 - Ibn Mahbub narrated from Dawud al-Raqqi, who said: "I was with Abu Abdullah (as) at Mina when a man came and said, 'There are people who arrived, but the Hajj has already passed them.' Abu Abdullah (as) replied: 'We ask Allah (swt) for well-being. I think that each of them should slaughter a sheep, exit from their state of Ihram, and they are obligated to perform the Hajj in the following year if they return to their homelands. However, if they stay until the days of Tashreeq pass while in Mecca, then leave to the Miqat of the people of Mecca, enter Ihram from there, and perform an Umrah, then the obligation of performing the Hajj in the following year is lifted from them.'"
