عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : «إِذَا اِشْتَرَى اَلرَّجُلُ اَلْبَدَنَةَ عَجْفَاءَ فَلاَ تُجْزِي عَنْهُ وَ إِنِ اِشْتَرَاهَا سَمِينَةً فَوَجَدَهَا عَجْفَاءَ أَجْزَأَتْ عَنْهُ وَ فِي هَدْيِ اَلْمُتَمَتِّعِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ ».

اور ʿعلی علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: اگر کوئی شخص قربانی کے لیے اونچا پتلا اونٹ خریدے تو وہ اس کے لیے کافی نہیں ہوتا۔ لیکن اگر وہ اسے موٹا خریدے اور بعد میں پتلا پائے تو وہ اس کے لیے کافی ہوتا ہے۔ اور متمتع کے ہدی کے بارے میں بھی یہی حکم ہے۔
Translation
Hadith.3066 - Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "If a man purchases a sacrificial camel that is emaciated, it does not suffice for him. But if he purchases it while it is fat and then finds it to be emaciated, it suffices for him. The same applies to the hady of a Mutamatti' (performing Hajj Tamattu')."
