مُكَاتَبٍ شُرِطَ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ عَجَزَ أَنْ يُرَدَّ فِي اَلرِّقِّ قَالَ " اَلْمُسْلِمُونَ عِنْدَ شُرُوطِهِمْ ".

القاسم ابن بردید نے محمد ابن مسلم سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی: ایک مکتب کے بارے میں جس کے لیے شرط رکھی گئی تھی کہ اگر وہ عاجز ہو جائے تو اسے غلامی میں واپس کر دیا جائے، انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: "مسلمان اپنے شرائط کے پابند ہیں۔"
Translation
Hadith.3476 - Al-Qasim ibn Burayd narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), regarding a mukatab (a slave under a contract of emancipation) who had a condition stipulated that if he failed to fulfill the contract, he would return to slavery. Imam (as) said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
