عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ: وَ دٰاوُدَ وَ سُلَيْمٰانَ إِذْ يَحْكُمٰانِ فِي اَلْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ اَلْقَوْمِ قَالَ "لَمْ يَحْكُمَا إِنَّمَا كَانَا يَتَنَاظَرَانِ فَفَهَّمْنٰاهٰا سُلَيْمٰانَ ".

3414 - جمیل ابن دراج نے زرارہ سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی: اس کے، عظمت والے اور جلیل القدر، کے قول کے بارے میں: “اور داؤد اور سلیمان، جب وہ کھیت کے بارے میں فیصلہ کر رہے تھے، جب لوگوں کی بھیڑیں اس میں گھس گئیں۔” انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: “انہوں نے فیصلہ نہیں دیا؛ بلکہ وہ معاملے پر بحث کر رہے تھے: 'پس ہم نے سلیمان کو اس کی سمجھ دی۔'”
Translation
Hadith.3414 - Jamil ibn Darraj narrated from Zurara, from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as): Regarding the words of Allah (swt), the Exalted: "And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field, when the sheep of the people had strayed into it" (Surah Al-Anbiya 21:78). Imam (as) said: "They did not pass a judgment; rather, they were discussing the matter. 'And We gave Solomon understanding of it" (Surah Al-Anbiya 21:79).
