جَارِيَةٍ كَانَتْ بَيْنَ اِثْنَيْنِ فَأَعْتَقَ أَحَدُهُمَا نَصِيبَهُ قَالَ "إِنْ كَانَ مُوسِراً كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَضْمَنَ وَ إِنْ كَانَ مُعْسِراً أُخْدِمَتْ بِالْحِصَصِ".

اور حَمّاد نے الحلبی سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی: ایک غلامہ کے بارے میں جو دو مالکان کے درمیان تھی، اور ان میں سے ایک نے اپنا حصہ آزاد کیا، انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: “اگر وہ مالی طور پر قادر ہو تو اسے معاوضہ کی ضمانت دینی ہوگی۔ اور اگر وہ مالی طور پر قاصر ہو تو اسے حصص کے مطابق خدمت کرنی ہوگی۔”
Translation
Hadith.3436 - Hammad narrated from al-Halabi, from Abu Abdullah (as), regarding a bondwoman who was jointly owned by two people, and one of them freed his share. Imam (as) said: "If he is financially capable, he is required to pay and compensate for the remaining share. But if he is financially incapable, she continues to serve based on their respective shares."
