العلاء نے محمد بن مسلم سے روایت کی، جو دونوں اماموں میں سے ایک تھے، علیہم السلام، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے اس سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جس کی ایک کنیز ہے اور وہ کہتا ہے، “جب بھی میں اس کے قریب آؤں، وہ آزاد ہوگی،” پھر وہ اسے کسی دوسرے شخص کو بیچ دیتا ہے اور بعد میں اسے دوبارہ خرید لیتا ہے۔ اس نے کہا: “اس کے قریب آنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں؛ وہ اس کی ملکیت سے باہر چلی گئی ہے۔”

Translation

Hadith.3442 - Al-Ala' narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from one of the Imams, peace be upon them, who said: I asked him about a man who owned a bondwoman and said: "Whenever I approach her, she will be free." Then he sold her to another man and later bought her back. Imam (as) said: "There is no harm in approaching her, as she had exited his ownership."
