"إِنَّ اَلصَّدَقَةَ لاَ تَحِلُّ لِغَنِيٍّ وَ لاَ لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ" فَقَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ "قَدْ قَالَ لِغَنِيٍّ وَ لَمْ يَقُلْ لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ".

اور کہا گیا امام الصادق علیہ السلام سے: "بے شک لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے فرمایا:" بے شک صدقہ امیر شخص کے لیے جائز نہیں، اور نہ ہی طاقتور اور صحت مند شخص کے لیے۔ تو انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: "انہوں نے کہا، 'امیر کے لیے،' لیکن انہوں نے نہیں کہا، 'طاقتور اور صحت مند کے لیے۔'"
Translation
Hadith.3671 - It was said to Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as): "People narrate from the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) that he said: 'Charity is not permissible for a wealthy person nor for one who is strong and able-bodied.'" Imam (as) replied: "He (sw) indeed said it is not permissible for a wealthy person, but he (sw) did not say for one who is strong and able-bodied."
