John Shaqi

: سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلثُّومِ وَ اَلْبَصَلِ وَ اَلْكُرَّاثِ فَقَالَ "لاَ بَأْسَ بِأَكْلِهِ نِيّاً وَ فِي اَلْقُدُورِ وَ لاَ بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يُتَدَاوَى بِالثُّومِ وَ لَكِنْ إِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ فَلاَ يَخْرُجْ إِلَى اَلْمَسْجِدِ".


اردو

شعیب نے ابو بصیر سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے لہسن، پیاز اور ہری پیاز کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: انہیں کچا کھانے اور برتنوں میں پکانے میں کوئی حرج نہیں، اور لہسن سے علاج کرنے میں بھی کوئی حرج نہیں۔ لیکن اگر ایسا ہو تو اسے مسجد میں نہیں جانا چاہیے۔


Translation

Hadith.4268 - Shu'ayb narrated from Abu Basir who said: Abu Abdillah (as) was asked about garlic, onions, and leeks. Imam (as) said: "There is no harm in eating them raw or cooked in pots, and there is no harm in using garlic as a remedy. However, if one does so, let him not go to the mosque."
