اَلْسَّکُونِیُّ نے جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّد سے روایت کی، جو اپنے والد علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، کہ عَلِیّ بْنِ أَبِی طَالِب علیہ السلام سے پوچھا گیا ایک شخص کے بارے میں جو وعدہ کر چکا تھا کہ وہ بیت اللہ تک پیدل جائے گا، پھر ایک راستے پر پہنچا۔ انہوں نے کہا: "پھر اسے چاہیے کہ وہ راستے پر کھڑا رہے جب تک کہ وہ اسے عبور نہ کر لے۔"

Translation

Hadith.4316 - Al-Sakuni narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) from his father, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), that Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) was asked about a man who vowed to walk to the House of Allah (swt) but encountered a river crossing along the way. Imam (as) said: "Let him stand in the crossing until he passes it."
